Our Founders:
Potamo Consulting was founded by Iraj Idafar and Ezra Idafar, bringing together two complementary areas of expertise.
Iraj leads on accounting, tax and commercial considerations. Ezra leads on business analysis, process improvement, systems and implementation.
Together, they provide clients with a joined-up approach from understanding the requirement through to delivering the necessary business change.

Iraj is an experienced Chartered Certified Accountant who began his career in accountancy in 1993 and qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2001.
He has advised individuals, landlords and businesses on accounting, taxation, financial management and commercial matters throughout his career.
You want an adviser with practical industry experience
Iraj has held senior finance positions across a range of sectors, including hospitality, construction, telecommunications, technology, logistics, manufacturing and retail.
His experience gives him a practical understanding of how financial processes and systems operate within real businesses.

Iraj has experience implementing accounting and enterprise systems, including SAP, Sage and other digital accounting platforms.
He understands that successful implementation requires more than software selection. Processes, controls, responsibilities and users must all be considered from the beginning.

Iraj founded Blue Accountancy in 2009 and has extensive experience supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
